hey everyone..im back from camp! well...it was...ok i guess...but SUPER tiring! we kayak kayak kayak for whole day for the entire camp...@_@ first day is learning only...not so bad but already tiring...second day learn a bit more and mini-expedition to Causeway...ok...its supposed to be mini but was so tiring that my partner got swapped to some NCC Sea guy coz i think they saw that we both cannot do it...so he helped and...he's hax X_X i mean like...keep on sprinting and he rowed so fast from last boat become first few boats...and did i mention he was only sec 1? X_X how depressing...haha...and anyway yesterday we went on expedition to Seletar Islands and back...it was a total of 12-18 km...ouch....so tired...we just kayak kayak kayak....so....tired...only word i can think of to describe...but when the big waves come it quite fun...though its scary when it rocks ur boat too much...kayak till ran out of water...1 litre bottle completely filled...all gone..lol then we stopped at some island for lunch...halfway while landing at the island my boat got caught in some guy's fishing line...he caught alot of people but no fish...haha...then we had to share like...this 500ml bottle of water among 4 ppl...uhhh...n we were all thirsty...but we cant be picky i guess D:
the food and toilets were ok...the food was quite nice for a camp...and there was alot....the portion was very big X_X then we must "finish every grain and morsel" as quoted by teachers coz of stray dogs...lol...so i finished all my food luckily...haha....at first they only used the word morsel then added the word grain too...coz of rice maybe? O_O the toilets were very nice for a camp..hey its a yacht club..a club must have nice toliets...or else who will go? haha...but....the only bad thing is that the showers have no doors...yup...no doors...instead...they give curtains so there is like no way to tell if there are people inside...instead everyone put their shoes there so we can see that there are people inside....or just ask...haha...
overall...the camp was ok and quite fun =D but i am SO glad to be back home...so tired...im aching all over...and the souvenirs and mementoes of this camp are: sunburn on my head, muscle ache, shoulder ache, arm ache, scrapes and blisters on my hands and feet...and a really really dark tan...i am so much darker than before the camp @_@ oh well...now i have a nice tan for a few weeks? with all the lines coz of my clothes and shoes...D:
lolx i forgot to mention..we get this oh so lovely cert for one star kayaking (which makes us eligible to take two star kayaking...oh joy! >_>) and we have to pay 5 bucks for it...like...what is up with that...what a waste of 5 bucks D:
oh well...its an achievement and im still happy! haha ^^
